In the project “Vague Terrain – Vague Tissue” VRS explored a vague space through textile interventions. Vague spaces are characterized by being ephemeral as they are planned to be built upon in the future. The vagueness of these spaces simultaneously represent uncertainty and potential. During the interventions VRS made informal encounters with school-kids and these informal meetings were further developed into co-researching together with the kids from the nearby school. The result shows the potential of using vagueness and co-researching in order to create new and self-organized projects including art, material technology and performative methods.
